n8n

The ValidationCheck community node adds two nodes to n8n:

• ValidationCheck: Validate Email, Validate Phone, Get Number Type, Look Up IP, Get Domain Age, Check Email DNS Auth, Combined Risk Check, Get Account. It also works as a tool for n8n’s AI Agent.
• ValidationCheck Trigger: starts a workflow on credits.low, credits.depleted, or credits.added. It registers its own webhook when the workflow is activated, removes it when deactivated, and checks every request’s signature.

Install

In n8n, open Settings → Community Nodes → Install and enter n8n-nodes-validationcheck. (Self-hosted: npm install n8n-nodes-validationcheck in your n8n folder.)

Connect

Create a ValidationCheck API credential with an API key from API keys in the dashboard. Use a vc_test_… key while building: answers are free and predictable (test mode). The trigger needs the key’s Manage webhook endpoints permission, which new keys have.

Tips

• Simplify (on by default) returns flat fields like action, status, risk_score, and credits_used, which are easy to use in IF and spreadsheet nodes. Turn it off for the full response.
• Branch on action: approve, verify, review, or block.
• Repeats within 7 days are free; use Bypass Cache only when you need a fresh answer.
• Turn on Continue On Fail for big lists, so one bad input doesn’t stop the run.
